Arthritis is an umbrella term that refers to a disease that causes inflammation, pain, and stiffness to one or more joints. It affects more than 3 million people every year,  and there is currently not a known cure. In light of all this, what we want to do in this health hack is offer practical steps that empower you to soothe and alleviate arthritis pain, whether you have it or simply want to prevent it.

1 EXERCISE TO STRENGTHEN YOUR MUSCLES AND JOINTS

When you’re joints are stiff and achy exercising is probably the last thing on your mind,  and we totally get that. But the fact of the matter is its EXTREMELY important to strengthen the joints and muscles that are affected by your arthritis! We recommend you find an exercise that suits you and doesn’t strain your arthritic area too much.

Being consistent and disciplined in regards to exercising will pay off in the long run, no pun intended. The stronger your joints and muscles are, the less inflammation and strain you will experience. Also an added bonus of exercising is weight loss, which will also alleviate the strain and discomfort on your joints!
